The jacuzzi
The house opposite has been under construction for two years, or rather reconstruction. There is constant noise, trucks, big and small deposit their material every day. A sturdy, well-built two storey house, there would not seem to have been any need for reconstruction, yet it goes on. Early morning a crane arrived. A jacuzzi had to be raised to the third floor, it weighed 250 kilos. 'It's a spa, aroma therapy, anything you want', said the supervisor. Everything in the house is going to be mechanised. A lift will be installed. A home theatre. A gym. Two breed dogs round off the picture. They will have an ac room to themselves Finally, the jacuzzi was hoisted. The crane backed away and left. Should one use one's wealth in this way? Would someone on a spiritual journey do so? These are questions without answers.
